JCK – Stranger To Call (Single Review)

Written by Rob Smith

Manchester duo, JCK have released an absolute corker of a track, ‘Stranger To Call.’ This fresh new single explores the inner feelings of all of us. Since half the band have moved from Brighton to Manchester, they’ve been creating movements with this release and it’s easy to see why they are going to be the next big thing.

Stranger To Call is a track you need to throw on and just dance away your feelings in your bedroom. The fusion of so many genres within this track really takes JCK’s music to another level. Harrison’s incredible ability to find a bass melody that seems to slide perfectly in sync with Jack’s rhythmic guitar and his infectious smile makes you enjoy the songs even more! There’s just a wholesome vibe you get from them when they play. Whoever and wherever you’re from the boys are just happy to see you enjoying the music they’ve made.

The second hit to be released; ‘Stranger To Call’ has shone a strong light onto the pair who have got more than enough potential to step up to the big leagues, and there’s evidence of that in their live shows too. Additionally, you’ve got to consider the fantastic imagery from the single’s artwork, a poster for any bedroom wall.

Get out there and listen to this track in all its glory, keep an eye out for more from this lot, it’s only bigger and better from JCK and ‘Stranger To Call’ certainly sets the bar very high.
